About Rebecca

Hi, I’m Rebecca Strong—a health and science journalist, podcast host, and the founder of WELL-BENT.

For more than 12 years, I’ve been reporting on health, wellness, and the science behind how we live — from mental health and behavior to motherhood, nutrition, fitness, and the trends shaping the way we fuel, nourish, and heal our bodies.

I started WELL-BENT because I was tired of watching wellness become a space where people felt anxious, confused, and overwhelmed rather than informed and empowered.

“As a journalist, my job isn’t to tell you what to fear or fix—it’s to ask better questions.”

The wellness world is full of contradictions around what to eat and how to live, and endless pressure to both minimize stress and optimize every part of ourselves. As a journalist, my job isn’t to tell you what to fear or fix—it’s to ask better questions.

Through evidence-based reporting, expert conversations, and honest personal essays, WELL-BENT explores what actually helps us feel and live better—without the perfectionism, extremism, or marketing noise.

My work has appeared in publications including Business Insider, USA TODAY, Men’s Health, Healthline, Bustle, and The Kitchn. I’ve interviewed physicians, researchers, psychologists, and other experts across health and wellness, and I’m also the host of the WELL-BENT podcast.

Whether we’re exploring trauma treatments, fitness trends, or the psychology behind our everyday habits, my goal is the same: to separate signal from noise and share information you can actually use.

Thanks for being here.
